My journey has been a bit like a colourful doodle that got interrupted by a surprise eraser pen. I started scribbling with a pencil practically out of the womb, continued throughout my schooling and eventuallytrained to be an art teacher. But life threw a curve ball, and my teaching career got cut shorter than a stubby pencil.
Dispite this stub, I decided to take life's lemons and turn them into as many versions of lemonade as i could image. I embarked on a healing adventure, discovering the therapeutic magic of my creativity. I was quite the entrepreneur, with award-winning rag dolls, animal portraits and my quirky family of Cow illustrations and loads and loads of Mandala designs.
Then, in 2020, I had an epiphany – why keep all this creative wizardry to myself? I decided to share the healing power of colour, creativity, and mindfulness with the world. That's when I created my first colouring book “Mindful Colouring For Small Minds,” which is like a breath of fresh air in a world full of crayon chaos.
I am about to start a new journey, renovating a 1960’s dormer bungalow in a picturesque market town in rural Leicestershire with my two teenagers (who are convinced they're cooler than I am) and two floofs of the four-legged varity. I’ve been quite the entrepreneur, with award-winning rag dolls, animal portraits and my quirky family of Cow illustrations. Now, with a bank full of colouring books, I have decided to branch out to share my colouring journey on You Tube and other distracting social media platforms! It's a whimsical life filled with imagination, art, and lots of colourful surprises
